As Advocates, not only does Villa coordinate initiatives for moms to fight for their rights and take direct action on laws affecting motherhood, but we are a non-partisan organization that takes immense pride in working alongside Industry Leaders, Attorneys, and Politicians from both sides of the aisle in order to ignite change. Some of the many issues we are passionate about include Pregnancy Rights in the Workplace, Maternity Leave, Breastfeeding Rights, Access to Quality Childcare, Safety in Schools, and Easy Access to Formula and Food. Further, we believe all women should have access to the legal resources they need, as well as knowledge about their rights, so Villa vows to stand up for you in your situation through our private Women’s Legal Advocacy Facebook Group, Girl Gladiators. Our goal is to connect you with the proper Attorney or Legal Resource Referral whether that’s finding a Lawyer to represent you in your custody dispute, help obtaining a protective order, filing a wrongful termination suit in pregnancy, or any other legal battle you may be faced with. We empower you to Know Your Rights and maybe even become an Advocate, Activist, or Attorney along the way!
